Dealing with their totally dysfunctional customer service in India, is not an experience to be undertaken by anyone with high blood pressure!

We are owners, and had an enquiry for a period which we could not accommodate. We advised the customer accordingly via Flipkey. On the same day that we had rejected the booking, Flipkey emailed the customer direct, and CONFIRMED the booking. We advised them to cancel this booking, as we did not make it. I have spoken to their C. S. in India, and sent them at least six emails. Making them understand is the epitamy of *** into the wind.

They are now saying that there will be a cancellation charge of $150.

I give up!!!

I am having so many problems with flipkey/tripadvisor Customer service in India no help after spending hours on the phone. I can't get any response to customer support emails.

Now my response to guest enquiries is being garbled in the email I send back to the potential guest making it impossible for the guest to dechiper the email from all the other garbage attached to the email, at which point the potential guest gives up and I don't get the booking.

I think flipkey/tripadvisor are deliberately doing this to force me to use online bookings but there is no way I would ever trust Flipkey/tripadvisor to handle my rental bookings or trust them to handle my money they are incompetent and unpleasant. Blood pressure!!!
