Made reservations for a property in Florida in November for March.Paid for all in full.
All of a sudden in February, get an email from flipkey that our reservation has been canceled. Called flipkey to see how they'd help us and was told that they'd send us emails with other possible properties to rent. So, looking for vacation properties in February is far more limiting than November to the extreme. There was nothing that compared to what we paid for in November.
Flipkey basically said, "sorry." There'd be no contacting the owner of the property to determine what he/she'd do for us, flipkey would not discount any property that we might find on their site (not that we found one).And I could not speak to a supervisor.
Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.
Preferred solution: Flipkey should add to the $$$ to the amount needed to find a property comprable to the one purchasedpurchased .
I didn't like: Poor customer service.
